2. Your Rights
You are entitled to the following rights (Art. 15–21 GDPR): access to data stored about you, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability. You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise these rights, please contact us informally at info@sb-elektronik.com. We will respond within the statutory deadline of one month.
Irrespective of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg (Königstraße 10a, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany).
3. What we deliberately do not do
This website is designed around data minimisation:
- No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies
- No web analytics services (no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no Vercel Analytics, etc.)
- No social media plugins or tracking pixels
- No embedded third-party content (e.g. no Google Maps embed, no YouTube videos)
- Fonts and images are served exclusively from our own server — no Google Fonts CDN
No cookies are set that would require your consent. A cookie banner is therefore not required.
4. Server log files
When you access the website, our hosting provider records technically necessary data in server log files: anonymised IP address, date and time, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type. These data are used solely for technical operation and for defence against attacks and are deleted automatically after 14 days.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation of the website).
5. Hosting
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. The website is served from the EU region (Frankfurt am Main). A data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. For any data transfers to the United States we rely on Vercel's EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification as well as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Contact form
Data collected: First name, last name, email address, subject, message (mandatory fields); company, position, phone number (optional).
Purpose: Processing your enquiry and, where applicable, initiating a business relationship.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry).
Retention period: Data are deleted once your enquiry has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. German Commercial Code, Fiscal Code) apply. The maximum retention period is six months unless a business relationship is established.
Recipients / processors: Contact enquiries are sent via the email service provider Resend (Resend Labs Inc., San Francisco, USA). Data processing takes place via EU servers. A data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Resend; Standard Contractual Clauses apply to any data transfers to third countries.
7. SSL encryption
To protect your data this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. Data transmitted cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise encryption by the padlock icon in your browser bar and by the URL beginning with "https://".
8. No automated decision-making
This website does not perform automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
9. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy so that it always meets the current legal requirements or to reflect changes in our services. The updated version will apply for your next visit.
